| Objective | Bitcoin All-Weather provides Bitcoin exposure through a combination of structured protected funds and spot Bitcoin funds. Roughly two-thirds of the portfolio is held in laddered structured funds that seek to limit Bitcoin losses to a defined level over each fund's outcome period, in exchange for a cap on participation in Bitcoin's gains. The remaining third is held in spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds, which participate fully in Bitcoin's price movement in both directions. The combination is intended to moderate the portfolio's overall participation in Bitcoin declines relative to holding Bitcoin alone. The strategy is a single-asset strategy. It does not seek diversification or income, and it does not use leverage. Risks. The protected funds limit losses only within a stated range, only against their reference, and only across a complete outcome period. An investor who buys partway through a period may receive less protection than stated, or none, and may already be at or near the cap. Losses beyond the protected range are borne in full. Gains are limited by the caps even when Bitcoin rises substantially, so the strategy will trail Bitcoin in strong advances. The spot Bitcoin portion carries no protection of any kind and participates fully in declines. Bitcoin is highly volatile and has repeatedly lost more than half its value; it may do so again and may not recover. Bitcoin is subject to regulatory, custodial, exchange and technological risks that may change without warning. Investors bear the expenses of the underlying funds in addition to strategy fees. Structured funds may trade at prices different from their net asset value, particularly during volatile markets. | Ankerstar Wealth developed this strategy for investors who want to hold bitcoin and generate cash flow from that position rather than rely on price appreciation alone. Bitcoin itself produces no yield, so the strategy pairs a core of spot bitcoin exposure with two income mechanisms: funds that write options against bitcoin exposure and collect premium, and preferred stock issued by companies that hold bitcoin on their balance sheets. A smaller allocation is held in equities of businesses built around the bitcoin economy. Income from this strategy is variable, not contractual. Option premium rises and falls with market volatility, and writing options limits participation in sharp rallies. Preferred dividends are declared at the discretion of each issuer's board, may be adjusted or suspended, and are junior to those issuers' debt obligations. These preferred securities are perpetual, with no maturity date and no obligation to return principal. An issuer may sell bitcoin or issue additional securities to fund dividend payments. The strategy is concentrated and does not seek broad diversification. It holds both preferred stock and common stock of the same issuer in some cases, which means those positions do not diversify against one another. Distributions may be characterized substantially as return of capital, which reduces cost basis rather than constituting ordinary income; investors should consult their own tax advisor. A portion of assets is held in exchange-traded products, including trusts registered under the Securities Act of 1933 rather than investment companies registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940, which do not carry the protections applicable to registered funds. Investors bear those products' expenses in addition to strategy fees. |
