Definitions
Sortino
Annualized excess return divided by downside deviation. Same daily series as Sharpe. Null if that series is not persisted.
Beta (reference statistic)
Covariance with SPY over variance of SPY on overlapping dates. Requires at least 30 overlaps. Never fabricated as 1.0. This is a reference statistic, not an approved universal versus-SPY benchmark.
Max drawdown
Most negative peak-to-trough decline on the published daily live-composite series. Official MDD is that daily-series field. It is not read from the downsampled sparkline.
CAGR
Compound annual growth rate from Autopilot inception. Shown as comparable only when history is mature and coverage is sufficient.
Ann. vol
Standard deviation of daily returns times sqrt(252).
Calmar
CAGR divided by the absolute value of max drawdown.
Win rate
Share of positive daily steps in the published daily series.
Worst month
Minimum calendar-month return estimated from the published (downsampled) curve. Withheld when that curve does not reproduce the official daily-series max drawdown.
Recovery days
Calendar days from the max-drawdown trough until equity reclaims the prior peak, estimated from the published curve. Withheld when that curve does not reproduce the official daily-series max drawdown. Null if still underwater.
Excess vs SPY
Portfolio period return minus SPY period return on the same dates. Null until that series is published.
1-year / 5-year / 10-year
Primary Marketing Rule periods. If the strategy is younger than the window, the column is n/a and since-inception is shown.
Autopilot client composite since launch
Time-weighted return of actual Autopilot client accounts that follow this Portfolio, measured only from the Autopilot launch date. Not a backtest, not a hypothetical model, and not a single-account track record.
Net / gross
Net is the default display. Net applies a working-model Advisory Fee pending CCO confirmation of actual versus model. Gross is shown beside net for the same window and does not deduct that fee.
